Volunteer Opportunities

CVSC relies heavily on volunteers. The following are a variety of ways you can help.

Advocates - CVSC has two types of volunteer advocates:

Crisis Line Advocates

Hospital Advocates

Crisis Line Advocates man our 24-hour crisis line from their homes. They provide crisis intervention, support and advocacy. Hospital advocates respond to emergency calls at local hospitals. All advocates must complete 12 hours of state certified training and maintain 12 hours of on-going training on an annual basis.
Board of Directors - SARC is continually seeking individuals who are concerned about sexual violence as well as other crimes in our community and are committed to assisting the agency. Board meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 5:15 pm.

Financial

As a 501(c)3, CVSC relies on the generosity of community members and grant dollars. All financial donations are welcome and appreciated. When requested, we designate donations for specific programs and/or purposes. We are able to accept contributions by check or credit card.
